Inmate & Supervisee Locator

The Inmate and Supervisee Locator provides public access to information about individuals under the supervision or custody of the Virginia Department of Corrections. This includes people housed in state correctional facilities as well as those supervised in the community.

The locator includes individuals in the following categories:

  • Incarcerated individuals in VADOC institutions

  • Probationers and parolees supervised by District Offices

  • Individuals assigned to Institutional Hospitals

  • Individuals housed in local or regional jails under VADOC authority

  • Participants in the Community Corrections Alternative Program (CCAP)

Purpose of the Locator

This tool is designed to help the public, victims, family members, legal representatives, and other stakeholders locate individuals using their DOC I.D. Number, name, or other identifying information. The system reflects data maintained by VADOC.
