Prison Rape Elimination Act Reports
The Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) is a federal law intended to prevent, detect, and address sexual abuse of inmates and probationers. It applies to all levels of adult prisons and jails, juvenile confinement facilities, lockups, and community confinement facilities.
